Notion Database System

  • 1 database with tasks
    • Date
    • Completed
    • Associated Project Views:
      • All tasks = done vs not done
      • In calendar format.
      • Due date
      • Planned Date
      • Weekday == this is probably something to be seen on the calendar view.
    • One of the views should have a board for each day and a way to move onto the next day if I didn't mark it as complete
  • 1 database for Open Calls
    • Has associated Tasks and Associated projects
  • 1 database with links & resources
    • Some links and resources should be marked as used often so they don’t live as a tab on my computer.
    • These should be
    • View: Cool ITP Projects
  • 1 database with projects (should it be a database of its own or just a page?
    • I also want to have a page with projects where I can add tasks that should automatically be linked to that project and view and add links&resources that are connected to that project
  • Interesting things mentioned (unclear where this should be)
  • 1 database with project ideas
  • 1 database with open questions (these are connected to projects)
  • 1 database with Conceptual Self-reflections
  • Some kind of ideal living dashboard
  • concepts like a topic forest
  • 1 dashboard/page for all things job related

Each item should be secret or not. = done through multi select to show up on my blog.

Currently I have multiple databases that already encapsulate this kind of thing. What should I do to merge them without going manually item by item?

Should I have a DB for frequently used pieces of code? Or these should be notes?

Views

Tasks per project + specific ongoing projects

Set up views to see projects without any tasks.

View for projects that I should continue working on.

For each class, wanna have notes that end up in the blog automatically that I can type into during class.

Make sure to have defaults in each project page with all the database views.
