the life resumé
what’s a life resumé, you ask? A concept by Jesse Itzler. Overall the understanding that your life is the most important and if you worked as hard to fill it up with experiences, as much as you do filling your professional resumé, you’d be a lot happier.
some of the things on mine
- spent a summer teaching English in rural Thailand and living with a local family
- hiking Trolltunga, Norway - 25km
- volunteering and living in an eco-community in Amsterdam, as a kids camp counselor and later as a marketing consultant, learning about sustainability and permaculture
- digital nomad’ing in Amsterdam for 3 months, living in 4 different places and exchanging with the community there
- studying in Montréal and Oslo
- learning (some) German in Germany
- learning (some) Salsa
- learning how to surf
- digital nomad’ing in Lisbon for a month, connecting with the Portuguese startup community
- staying at an Ashram
- coliving and coworking in Tenerife with other digital nomads
- did my first ever ice bath with Wim Hof and my record time is now 30 minutes inside the ice
- went to my first ever restorative festival to connect with the self, community & nature
- 4 days in full silence
- all sorts of mini creative workshops, like screen printing, digital embroidery, ceramics painting and more
